-2- <br />• King Solomon DMG Permit M/77/296 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040103 <br />Umetco closed all known shafts and ventilation raises (15) at the site. The Cliff Dweller <br />Portal and Redsox portal were also closed. <br />• Last Chance Mine <br />DMG Permit M/77/468 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040115 <br />Umetco closed the unlined ventilation raise and the portal at this mine site during the months <br />of August and September. The cement pad is still on the collaz of the ventilat~.on raise. All <br />know physical hazazds at the site have been remediated. <br />• Mexico Group <br />DMG Permit M/77/563 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040099 <br />Three ventilation raises were closed at this mine site during the month of Octobf:r. <br />• New Verde <br />DMG Permit M/77/292 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040104 <br />Umetco closed 5 portals and 10 ventilation raises at this mine site during tl~e months of <br />October and November. One of the portals was inaccessible to heavy equipment, and was <br />closed with cinder blocks and painted to blend in with the surrounding rock. All known <br />hazards aze closed in the azea. Many of the closings occurred outside the permitted area, <br />were pre-law, and on BLM and DOE ground. <br />• Radium Hill <br />DMG Permit M/77/299 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040108 <br />This mine azea contains the Rimrock and September Mom mines. Umetco closed 8 portals <br />and 4 ventilation raises in the area during the months of September and October. All known <br />physical hazards within the permitted azea aze closed. <br />• Rajah 30 <br />DMG Permit M/77/294 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040113 <br />Umetco contained the mine water dischazge in a buried plastic pipe to prevent the dischazge <br />from flowing over the mine waste pile. <br />• Rimrock Blues <br />DMG Permit M/77/562 <br />Stormwater Permit COR-040108 <br />Umetco closed over 20 mine openings at this site during the month of September. Many of <br />the hazazds that were closed were outside the permitted azea and pre-law. All known physical <br />hazazds within the permitted azea aze closed. Some small waste dumps were rccontoured in <br />accordance to the reclamation plan during the closure of the mine portals. <br />
