• <br />Revised 04/20/90 <br />Section 816.100 Continued. <br />As can be seen from Maps 31 nd 32, in the Pit 1 Area, Kerr Coal has <br />stockpiled the topsoil and subsoil from Pit #1, adjacent to the pit. <br />Therefore, during reclamation, the topsoil and subsoil salvaged from <br />Pit 1 will be reapplied to that pit. A minimum depth of 0.5 feet of <br />soil will be available for redistribution over Pit #1, as a result <br />of recovery and stockpiling of approximately six inches from the <br />entire Pit 1 disturbance area. <br />Although retopsoiling will immediately follow backfilling and <br />grading, because of the size and depth of the pits ali topsoil and <br />subsoil will be stockpiled for extended periods.
