i
1

' Reclamation Costs
The mining disturbance at any one time is estimated based on the
' proposed development schedule and mining plan for any quarter to be as
follows:
' Moderate disturbance:
mining unit and stockpile 20 acres
1 ~\I \,l ,
dams and diversion 3 acres
' Minor disturbance
roads, plant and scale site 10 acres
1
The access road is to be left in place after the operation at the
' request of the owner, leaving conservatively 3 acres of minor disturbance
to be reclaimed. Of the remaining acreage we will assume enough growth
' medium might be available to seed the entirety.
Soil to be placed and graded in any one quarter is about 50,000 cubic
' yards. Soil replacement cost should be twenty cents per cubic yard for
the short haul distances in this mining plan for a cost of about $385.00
' per acre.
' The proposed seed mixture will cost $22.00 per acre.
Based on the mining plan and development schedule, we would recommend
1 a floating bond of $10,582.00.
1

1
