<br /> <br />Angie Pit Adequacy Response Letter Pale 2 <br />No new adjacent landowners have been identified with permanent man-made structures <br />on or within 200 feet of the boundary line drawn around the land to be affected by the <br />gravel operation. <br />3. Please provide better delineation of the location of t{te various vegetative types or: site. <br />A new map, Exhibit J-1, Vegetation, is appended to the application and should be <br />inserted into the Exhibit J section of the permit application. This exhibit delineates the <br />current vegetation within the permit boundary, with map symbols and text to describe <br />vegetation types, heights and densities. <br />4. Please provide a legend for the various Wrap symbols used at the application maps. <br />A legend has been provided on all Exhibit Maps in the application identifying the various <br />symbols used on the map. <br />5. The mine plan map does not s/taw facilities, processing, or stockpile features. Please <br />show details of these features on t)te mine plats Wrap. These features may include: <br />stockpiles, office, scales, hazardous material storage (fuel, ltydrattlic fluid, antifreeze, <br />etc.), crus{ter, was{t plant, batch plant, etc. <br />The initial position of the screening and crushing plant, stockpile, fuel storage and <br />sanitary facilities are shown on Exhibit C-2, Mine Plan. These facilities will advance with <br />the pit excavation, remaining on the disturbed pit floor. <br />Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />6. Please provide operational details of all processing operations tlta! are proposed for this <br />site, including location, size, foundations required, etc. <br />These details are included in an updated Exhibit D -Mining Plan and shown on Exhibit <br />C-2, Mine Plan. With the exception of the semi portable scale unit, all facilities planned <br />for the gravel operation are portable and require no permanent structure or foundations. <br />The small concrete piers necessary for the scales are described in Exhibit E. <br />Please provide a weed control plan that will be performed to prevent infestation of <br />noxious weeds at this site. <br />A weed control plan, designed to prevent the spread and re-infestation of noxious weeds <br />has been developed and included nt E.chibit J. This weed control plmt is developed in <br />accordance with the recommendations mrd comments of Sheila Grottier, Manager of San <br />Miguel Weed Program. <br />
