.~
EXHIBIT E - RECLAI.IATIDIJ PLAIJ
The reclamation to be implemented following the close of the
proposed mine will render the disturbed area useful for rangeland
and wildlife habitat, and will not preclude future mining activity
or general recreational use by the public. All rehabilitative
measures taken must be approved by the surface managers, the
Bureau of Land 1lanagement.
Basically, the reclamation plan calls for grading waste dumps
to a contour compatible with the final land use and capable of
supporting vegetation, scarifying compacted areas, redistributing
• stockpiled topsoil material and reseeding disturbed areas, except
for any pre-existing roads, which will be left open.
LAID USE
At this time the permit area is public domain. Its use and the
surrounding land use includes rangeland, wildlife habitat and mining.
Proposed postmining land use is the same. The area has been zoned
agricultural-open by IJontrose County.
RECLAIIATIDIJ OF DISTIF,~BED AREAS
Affected acreage may be divided into several areas: the waste
dump, the area around the surface facilities, pre-existing main
roads, ne~v roads, and venthole sites. (See Exhibit A for acreage
• allotted to each type of disturbance by quarter-quarter section.)
