SEED MIRE . ~~~~a~~ <br />Note: See Map in Exhibit I for Range Site DATE dAN tY' 1 <br />Range Site: Salt Meadow (3) <br />The native vegetation potential on this site have a meadow appearance. The <br />grasses consist of 45% alkali sacaton, 20% switchgrass, 20% western wheatgrass, <br />15% sal.tgrass, 10% alkali bluegrass, 10% Baltic rush, 10% sedges, 5% Canada <br />wildrye and 5% slender wheatgrass.%~ <br />Tlie expected ground cover amounts to as much as 50% or more. <br />Critical area Planting: The slope, seedbed preparation, fertilizer, seeding <br />and mulching guide lines are similar to that described in the sandy plains <br />range site planting guide. Also the above mi~:ture <br />could be planted in all Range Sites, because of its easy vegatation <br />establishment. <br />
