Drcdg~ing ponds will be.upcned iniCia.ily by the use of dragliues to abtain floating area frrr a dredge. Dredging will be conducted with an six Co twelve inch conventi.unal gravel dredge presently owned or to be pUI'Ch~9SCd. $tt-Ce715, bins and dewatering equipment will be located on shore-side facilities. Dewatering shall be r-onducted in the following m;mner; a holding, pond will he excavated in the area to be mined and waste water will he pumped into the pond so waste fines will settle. The pond will have an overflow Glowing into the Cache La Pourde River. 1'he operator has applied for :1 A!nCional Pollutant Discharge E1imi.nat.ion System Permit. All materials dredged and excavated will. be used in the production of the mining operation, so there will be no waste products generated from the dredging operation. During the years 1977-1981, 10'a~•res wi.l1 be caorked. During the years 1481-1984, 8 acres will be worked. During the years 1984-1987 9 acres will be worked. No excavation shall be permitted within ten fceC of any buundary line. The extraction area will be fenced and enclosed as required by ldeld County. Reclamation will be•. three ponds, the Easterly one, Cen acres, the Southerly one, eight acres, the 4?esterly one, nine acres, The ponds will have a sloped bank. no sCCCpcr Clran,a:l. They will have a depth of approximately thirty feet. The area of the banks and between ponds will be restored. Preservation shall be made of existing U-ces and vcgaCation along the Cache La Poudre River, so as to preserve that area for cover and wildlife use.
