1) Off-road vehicle travel is prohibited within the permit area by all project <br />• personnel. <br />2) Starting in the first quarter 1987, (the first quarter subsidence is predicted), <br />periodic field reconnaissance will be conducted to determine if sun`ace <br />subsidence has affected any of the above referenced cultural resource sites <br />caused by longwall mining. In the event of the identification of alterations at <br />these sites, appropriate regulatory authorities will be notified. <br />3) Cultural resource maps, site forms and related information is kept confidential <br />and is not accessible to the public or BME staff, with the exception of <br />appropriate BME personnel. <br />Potentiall~Eligible Sites <br />5R6 1008 <br />1) The same mitigation procedures are being implemented as outlined above. <br />Unidentified Sites <br />• <br />If during the course of mining operations, previously unidentified cultural and historic <br />resources are discovered, BME will insure that the site is not disturbed prior to its <br />proper evaluation in terms of the National Register of Historic Places eligibility criteria. <br />The mitigation plan described above will be applied to sites that are determined <br />eligible. <br />IV.O Noncoal waste storage facilities <br />Prior to transportation to a landfill, noncoal solid waste will be temporarily stored in <br />designated locations in a controlled manner. Most of such wastes are deposited in <br />transportable dumpsters or other trash receptacles located throughout the property. <br />locations of these receptacles can vary depending on trash generating activities at any <br />given time.
