Additional Remuiranents for Stotmtvater Discharee Associated with Other industrial Activities <br />This permit may only authotire a stotmwater discharge associated with another regulated industrial activity located at <br />amine site that is mined with a stormwater discharge from a mine site where: <br />a. the stormwater discharge from the mine site is in compliance with the terms of this permit and <br />b. stormwater discharges associated with the other regulated industrial activity (including dedicated asphalt and <br />dedicated concrete plmts) are authorized by amd im compliance with the arms of a different CDPS permit <br />authotiring such discharges. <br />11. Additional Submittal Upon Request <br />Upon request, the permittee shall submit the SWMP to the Division, the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology and <br />EPA, and any local agency approving sediment end erosim plans or stotmwater management pleas within the time frames <br />specified in the request. <br />12. Retention of Records <br />The permittee shall retain a copy of the SWMP requited by this permit at the mining site for the duration of [Iris permit. <br />The perrnittee shall retain copies of all reports required by this permit and records of all data used to compete the <br />application to be certified under this permit, for a period of at least three yeah. <br />~. ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS <br />1. Best mamgement practices (BMPs): schedules of activities, prohibitions of practices, taaintemace procedures, and <br />other msnageromt practices to prevent or reduce the pollution of waters of the State. BMPs also include treatment, <br />operating procedures, and practices to control site runoff, spillage or leaks, waste disposal, or drainage from material <br />storage. BMPs include structural and nonstructural controls. <br />2. Operator: the individual who has day to day wpervision and control of activities occurring at the mine site. <br />3. Signifitsmt Materials include but are not limited to: raw materials; fuels; materials such as metallic products; hazardous <br />substances designated under section 101(14) of CERCLA; fertilizers; pesticides; and waste products such as ashes, slag <br />and sludge that Gave the potential to be released with storrrtsvater discharge. <br />4. Stormwater. precipitation-induced surface runoff. The definition of stormwater excludes infiltration. <br />PART II <br />A. MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Chan¢e in DCscharre <br />The permittee shall inform the Division (Permits and Enforcement Section) in writing of any latent to construct, install, <br />or alter any process, facility, or activity that is liltely to result in a new or altered discharge, and shall famish the <br />Division sucJt plans and specifications which the Division deetnt reasonably necessary to evaluate the effxt oa the <br />• discharge and receiving stream. The SWMP shall be updated and a copy of the [barges submitted to the Division within <br />60 days of the chmges. <br />The petmittee shall submit this notice to the Division within two weeks after mating a Sete 'mss 'on to perform the type <br />of activity referred to is the preceding paragraph. <br />
