Regular Meeting <br />blay 24 , 1983 <br />Page 7 <br />Public Hearinq - Certified Reddi I4ix cont' <br />Harris asked that the permit be granted subject to State approval. <br />Chairman Needham stated that he was not in favor of granting a permit for the <br />full G2.42 acres. <br />Commissioner Ritschard stated that he thought a conceptual approval could be <br />arrived a* and ast: for aro•:isions tc be made in th 't `^ <br />-, e perm_ ,.,, ccm~ up with <br />a well thought out set of conditions. <br />Attorney Stern stated that the applicant would like hear annroval of the <br />application with conditions to be worked between the County and the applicant. <br />Time is of the essence for him because the old pit is running out. <br />Commissioner Ritschard moved that a permit be approved provided conditions and <br />stipulations can be put into the permit to guarantee any problems that may <br />arise with water control and irrigation will be worked out. <br />Mr. Corkle, still voiced concern with the impact of the operation on the Huggins <br />property. <br />Chairman Needham asked him to submit mitigating suggestions in the near future. <br />Chairman Pleedham called for the vote. <br />Commissioner Ritschard voted "Yes". <br />Commissioner Linke voted "Yes". <br />chairman Needham voted "No". <br />This hearing was tape recorded and is on file in the office of the County <br />Commissioners. Tape #22 - No. 0001 - 2644. . <br />Public Hearinq - Horn Gravel Pit - Special Use Permit <br />Chairman Needham opened the public hearing scheduled for 2:30 P.M. at 3:30 P.M. <br />Attorney DiCola set the record with the following Exhibits. <br />Exhibit "A" - Letters of application <br />Exhibit "B" - Public notice <br />Exhibit "C" - Froof of publication <br />Exhibit "D" - Certified mailings <br />Exhibit "E" - Public review sheets <br />Exhibit "F" - Letter from East Grand Schools <br />Exhibit "G" - Planning Commission Resolution <br />Exhibit "H" - Certificate of recommendation <br />Attorney DiCola stated for the record that he is representing Cody Dccheff <br />in acquiring an easement from ldr. Horn. <br />Paul Grant, Dept. of Developmen~, presented the applica*_i.~n and reviewed the <br />Planning Dept. Certificate of Recommendation with 6 conditions and an additional <br />condition #7 for dust control according to the road Su~ervisors requirements. <br />Chairman Needham asked for public comment. <br />Cody Docheff identified his interest in obtaining gravel for his concrete <br />business, so stated his approval. <br />Mr. born explained his 'location and a discussion of ingress-egress followed. <br />It was determined that all truck traffic would be routed to highway 34 instead <br />of into the Town of Granby. <br />
