The storm water controls indicated are dimensioned as to depth in the Mining Plan
(Exhibit D) drawings, and to size on Exhibit C. The proposed operator indicated these
dimensions for normal storm events.
AGRI-DLD is proposing detention ponds, not retention ponds to control drainage.
Drainage from the sedimentation pond to the detention pond will be via a drainage ~vay
stabilized with riprap as necessary, slowed with hay/straw bales as necessary. The
embankment will be constructed of compacted overburden soils.
No upland diversions are anticipated. Outlet pipe of the detention pond (18" diameter)
will be 6-12" above the original pond floor and length determined by the berm width.
Outfall will be into the natural drainage way; the need for riprap is not anticipated, but
will be added if erosion at the culvert outlet occurs. Detention ponds will be self-
emptying for the most part; small amounts of runoff captured below pipe outlet height
will percolate into the soil.
Stratum underlying the gravel deposit is shale as exhibited in test holes. Pond structures
may be situated over this material. No upland diversions are anticipated.
To prevent uncontrolled fluid releases related to the proposed asphalt/concrete plants, a
temporary lined catchment will encompass potential harmful fluid release sites.
Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan
AGRI-DLD will commit to applying 4016s. /acre of 10/]0/5 fertilizer suggested by the
local N.R.C.S.
All of the roads constructed will remain after reclamation as access for the property and
gas well site.
Exhibit F -Reclamation Map
Please see attached revised Reclamation Map - Exhibit F for signature of preparer and
names of adjacent landowners to the northwest and southwest.
The road will lead into Phase 1, and will remain post mining for property access. The
southern access road will be realigned and lowered during Phase 7 mining activities, and
will remain as a permanent road for post mining use.
Exhibit L -Reclamation costs
The types of equipment used to estimate reclamation costs are bulldozers, front loaders,
and tractors with general farm attachments.
Exhibit O -Owners of Record of Affected Land
Please see corrected Exhibit O attached.
