~ • • <br />CONEJOS COUNTY RESOLUTION NUMBER ~'-O / - ~ ~ <br />r r -. _. .. ~ A _ <br />A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE APPLICATION OF ALAMOSA COUNTY <br />(ROAD & BRIDGE) FOR CONDITIONAL USE REVIEW FOR THE PURPOSES OF <br />EXTRACTING GRAVEL FROM THE REAL PRGPERTY HEREINAFTER MORE <br />PARTICULAR DESCRIBED. <br />WHEREAS, Alamosa County Road and Bridge Department heretofore have submitted <br />an application for Conditional Use Review for the purpose of extracting gravel from the <br />real property hereinafter more particular described, and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Conejos County Planning <br />Commission on February 28s', 2001, upon proper notice to adjoining land owners and <br />publication in a legal newspaper of general circulation in the County of Conejos and <br />thereafter the Planning Commission recommended approval of said application with the <br />fol{owing conditions: 1) Alamosa County would conduct no commercial sales from the <br />pit; 2) Approval applies to (10) ten acres only- additional review for amendments once a <br />year; 3) no crushing will occur on site; and 4) Alamosa County will assist with dust <br />abatement on County Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the members of the Board of County Commissioners have determined that <br />all surrounding land owners have been given notice and notice of both this hearing as <br />well as the hearing held by the Conejos County planning Commission has been <br />published in the Conejos County Valley Courier, a legal newspaper of general <br />circulation in the County of Conejos, and <br />WHEREAS, a hearing has been duly conducted by the members of the Board of County <br />Commissioners at which hearings interested persons were given an opportunity to be <br />heard, and <br />WHEREAS, the members of the board of County Commissioners have concluded that <br />the Conditional Use Review Application should be granted. <br />IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the application of for a Conditional Use Review is <br />hereby granted to Alamosa County Road and Bridge Department.
