<br />EXHIBIT A <br />A tract of land located in the Southeast Quarter (SE'/) of Section 4, Township 36 North, <br />Range 8 East, New Mexico Principal Meridian, Conejos County, Colorado, more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at the South Quarter Corner of said Section 4, as monumented by a 30 inch <br />long No. 6 rebar pin with a 3% inch aluminum cap set by PLS No. 22583, thence <br />N 00°22'35" E along the west line of said SE'/< a distance of 660.00 feet; thence <br />S 89°25'34" E a distance of 660.00 feet; thence S 00°22'35" W a distance of 660.00 feet <br />to a point on the south line of said SE'/<; thence N 89°25'34" W along said south line a <br />distance of 660.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning, containing 10.000 acres, more or <br />less. <br />This description was prepared by Daniel M. Russell, PLS No. 22583, on July 21, 2001. <br />Bearings were determined by GPS Observations and are referenced to the south line of <br />this tract, monumented as shown on the survey plat. <br />
