<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />,~ac~l A[etif ~?- <br />L~ <br />.~,; <br />Alamosa County through the Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 178, Alamosa, <br />Colorado 81101, (719) 589-3841, has filed an application for a Reclamation Permit with <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under the provisions of the Colorado Land <br />Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The Proposed mine is <br />known as the Alamosa County Pit No. 1 and is located in the Southwest Quarter of the <br />Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 36 North, Range 8 East, New Mexico Principal <br />Meridian, Conejos County, Colorado. <br />The proposed date of commencement is December 15, 2001 and the proposed date of <br />completion is December I5, 2031. The future use of the land is Rangeland. <br />Additional information and the tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado, 80203, <br />(303) 866-3567, or at the Conejos County Clerk and Recorder's office; County <br />Courthouse Building, Conejos, Colorado, or the above named applicant. A complete <br />copy of the application is available at the above named County Clerk and Recorder's <br />office and at the Division's office. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be <br />received by the Division of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. on December 15, 2001. <br />
