Montgomery Pit
MLR File N0. M-86-104, Adequacy Response.
Attached is a letter I received from The Division of Wildlife
concerning the species of brush and seeding rates for such. We
will follow their recommendations on planting just the brush mix
on the areas outlined as sagebrush habitat on our adequacy map
submitted on October 22, 1986. I have worked up a seeding rate
based on a total of 20 pls/sf2 of brush, this mixture will be
doubled if broadcast. If erosion becomes a problem we will use
their recommendation on alternate strip planting of the grasses
and shrubs.
Species Rate pls/ac.
Hobble Creek Sagebrush 1.00
(Artemisia Tridentata vaseyana)
Maybell Bitterbrush 3.00
(PUrshia Tridentata)
TOTAL 4.00
Sincerely,
~~
Stevan L.
