As you are aware any reclamation plan submitted must be approved
by the Mined Land Reclamation Division.
The applicant's basic plan is to leave the pit floor level with a slight
pitch to the south to evidence positive drainage. Any backslopes will be
finished at 3H: 1V or flatter. The applicant also plans to reclaim areas
that were mined by previous operators. I have a meeting scheduled on site
November 21, 1990 with Ken Lair of E1 Paso SCS and Cary Bellew, Fort Carson
Range Conservationist to finalize the seed mix acceptable to both agencies.
The applicant has also agreed to plant 100 seedlings per acre in reclamation.
Please call me if there are other questions. Thanks for your help.
Cordial ~,~
Lloyd V. "Buck" arnhart
Consultant and Agent
Robinson Brick Company
cc: Robinson
y EXHIBIT
5
