3.2.3 Three underground water lines will need to be accessed and taped to <br />bring access of those water lines into the new building. The three lines <br />are the suction, pressure, and recirculation lines. <br />3.2.4 The floor shall be sloped to a draining location on the pad, and a 4' drain <br />installed to collect and evacuate any leaking water from the pump <br />installations. The drain pipe shall extend into the drainage ditch to the <br />North of the addition. <br />3.2.5 The minimum foundation for the building should be typical 4' deep. The <br />backfill inside the walls will be dirt compacted to 1' below grade level <br />(existing building floor lever. 6' of compacted 3/4' washed gravel will be <br />placed immediately below the floor. The concrete pad (building floor) will <br />be a minimum 6' reinforced concrete. <br />3.2.6 Build two reinforced pads for the pump skid assemblies to sit on. These <br />pads will help to minimize and isolate vibration. They will be built on the <br />6' pad and extend a foot above the floor level on the high side of the <br />slope for drainage. The pad will be thicker down slope. <br />3.2.7 The West wall of the addition will have a 10' X 10' door for access into <br />the addition. <br />3.2.8 A wall to isolate the electrical controls from the pumps will be built to <br />eliminate the chance of water coming into contact with the electrical <br />devices. <br />3.2.9 The interior walls where the pumps reside will need to be covered with <br />the same type of meta] as the exterior walls, and extend to a height of <br />10'. The portions of the extension where the controls aze to be do not <br />need an interior covering. <br />3.2.10 Install heaters and lighting for the building. <br />3.2.11 Install roof mounted ventilation fan. <br />MR06-205 EX49F-2 02/01/06 <br />
