We have made our responses in the same
order and number as your letter.
Aoolication Form
To the best of our knowledge, the proposed mining operation is not located on any State
or Federal land. Alpine Rock's lease is solely located on private land. Alpine Rock will
do a property survey and monument the boundaries prior to mining.
Exhibit E Reclamation Plan
We would agree to changing the final reclamation to wildlife habitat as opposed to
rangeland and attempt to revegetate the area through some seeding. The Operator
would commit to do this with the understanding that because there is no topsoil left from
the previous placer mining operation, the operator is not committed to importing topsoil
for this reclamation.
We believe the re-establishment of vegetation on the property will actually be enhanced
by the removal of the tailings simply because the groundwater table will be accessible to
the root zone of most plant species.
11990 Gent Sheet, M410 Telephone: (303) 452-6611
Denvcr, Colorado 80233 Fa~inile: (303) 452-2759
