Cattany <br /> Division Director <br />RE: Hall-lrwin Corporation, Application No. M-2006-003 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Parker/Dersham Sand & Gravel Resource; 112 Adequacy Review <br />Deaz Mr. Gregg, <br />Listed below are adequacy review comments on the Pazker/Dersham Sand & Gravel Resource New 112 <br />Application, Permit Number M-2006-003. The Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) is required <br />to make an approval or denial decision no later than April 17, 2006, therefore, your response to the <br />following adequacy review concerns should be submitted to the Division as soon as possible. <br />1. As required by Rule 1.6.2 (1)(g), please submit the proof of publication of the public notice circulated <br />in the local newspaper, all owners of record of surface and mineral lands, easement holders, and <br />owners of record of surface lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof <br />of notice may be return receipts of a Certified Mailing or by proof of personal service. <br />2. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires that maps be signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, or <br />other qualified person. The maps submitted to the Division were not signed. Please resubmit a <br />signed copy of the maps. <br />3. The Division received comments from the NRCS, the Office of the State Engineer, the Army Corps <br />of Engineers and Kerr-McGee Rocky Mountain Corporation regarding the proposed application. The <br />letters are attached. Please address the comments noted in the letters, and make any changes the <br />application as necessary. <br />Rule 6.4.3 Exhibit C- Pre-Mining_and Mining Plan Maw <br />4. Per Rule 6.4.3(8), the applicant will need to depict the owner's name, type of structure attd location of <br />all significant, valuable and permanent man-made structures on the azea of affected land and within <br />200 feet of the affected land. Please identify the owners of al] structures on and within 200 feet of the <br />affected land. This would include roads, ditches, pipelines, gas lines, gas wells, utility lines, water <br />wells, etc... <br />5. Rule 6.4.3(f) requires that all water wells in the surrounding azea be identified on the map. The map <br />submitted by the applicant in Exhibit G was at a scale that was difficult to determine the location of <br />the welts. Please locate the wells on a map and state the owners ofthe wells. <br />6. The applicant makes note of the adjacent Baseline Resources Pit. Please revise the map to include the <br />correct permit number of M-1997-058.
