RECLAMATION PLAPI <br />Plan 8 <br />Per section I12 (3) (c), Rules and Regulations, the following informatio^: <br />Final Grading <br />t4aximum anticipated slope will be 85° on a stabilized rock face in the <br />Copper Hill area and a 60° slope on a stabilized rock face in the Gold Hill <br />Area. On spoils and reconstructed loose slopes, a maximum 1:1 grade will he <br />-~ <br />allowed, as long as revegetation attempts are successful. Slopes may be re- <br />duced if the surface plant media proves to be unsuitable or unstable for <br />revegetation at this repose. <br />Seeding <br />See preceeding pages, this section. <br />Fertilization <br />Present plans are to incorporate varying amounts of composted manure <br />into existing spoils materials along with applications of mulches the seascr. <br />prior to planting of seedlings. Rates will vary the first few years, from 15 <br />to 50 Tons per acre, until optimum rates are ascertained. Additional organic <br />or inorganic fertilizer applications may be made during Phase Three of the plan, <br />based on field criteria and site evaluation by operating personnel, Soil Con- <br />servation Service, and Colorado State Forest Service. <br />Revegetation ~ <br />I <br />Refer to preceeding pages, this section, i <br />Topsoiling <br />In areas where topsoil will be applied, a 15-35cm range of suitable plant <br />material x111 be utilized. <br />• <br />.~ . <br />
