Comments: At each staked drill pad location (14-06, 15-0~, 15-06, 15-07, 15-08, and 1~- <br />09) adjacent level to moderately sloping terrain (less than about 30% slope) was inspected for the <br />presence of cultural resources. Pedestrian transects in wooded or brushy areas were irregularly <br />spaced and efforts were focused on areas of favorable surface visibility. An existing ATV trail <br />south from the existing road along Sylvester Gulch and a proposed access corridor from <br />previously surveyed location SOM-53 to drill pad 1 ~-OS were also inventoried. <br />II. DESCRIPTION OF UNDERTAKING /PROJECT <br />10. .Type of Undertaking: Six drill pad locations for potential gob vent/de-gas boreholes. <br />11. Size of Undertaking (acres): 16.9 acres Size of Project (if different) <br />12. Nature of [he Anticipated Disturbance: Cleared drill pad areas, approximately 120 x 180 <br />feet, and access corridors. <br />13. Comments: Drill pad locations 14-06, 1 ~-06, and 1 ~-07 will be along existing maintained <br />roads. The other three will be farther from existing roads and will require access road <br />improvements. <br />III. PROTECT LOCATION <br />Please attach a photocopy of USGS Quad. clearly showing the project location.
