entry ti 110 gpm.
3/81 - 5/81 Section that encountered fault drives 2W - 1L
panel on the eastern side of the fault toward
the south. R.Marrs contracted to perform
photogeologic interpretation.
5/28/81 First fault re-encountered in 1R entry of
2W - 1L. entry.
5/81 - 1/82 Pillars pulled in 2W - 1L entry. Centennial
Construction contracted to tunnel through first
fault in 1L, belt, 1R entries 2W mains. Field
studies using VLF (E-M) surveys and surface
mapping conducted.
1/82 - 2/18/82 Section operates on west side of first fault
encounters second fault on 2/18/82. While
operating in this area, water flow to the area
estimated as high as 448 gpm.
• 3/82 J&L Drilling Co. contracted to drill three core
holes from Eagle No. 5 Mine to determine
stratigraphy in 2W area between faults. Conduct
underground mapping of significant geologic,
structural, and hydrogeologic features. Section
crosses second fault and operates to west of
second fault.
3/25/82 Preliminary findings of investigation published.
Drilling continues.
4/15/82 Drilling underground complete.
4/82 - 5/4/82 Mining continues west of eecond fault. Amoco
Minerals staff consulted for assistance in
determining source of water in 2 West.
6/4/82 Third fault encountered. water flows between
first and second fault measured at 260 gpm.
