Cottony
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division of Minerals and Geology is currently reviewing the 110 application
submitted by Rimrock for the above referenced site. A Preliminary Adequacy Review
(PAR) has been done. Please answer or clarify the following:
ADEQUACY ISSUES
1. Please provide details for secondary spill containment for all hazardous materials
that will be stored on site.
2. Please specify the construction details and dimensions for the proposed portals
and vent hole(s).
Please provide a detailed drainage control plan for all proposed areas to be
affected, including the portal bench, roads, facilities/staging/pazking aeeas, and
stockpile/waste rock disposal aeeas. The plans must demonstrate the ability of the
drainage control features to adequately handle the 10 yeaz 24 hour precipitation
event during the operation of the mine, and ensure that these features will
adequately handle the 100-yeaz event after reclamation. The plan must
demonstrate that all mining features will remain stable and that discharge points
will not cause off-site sedimentation or erosion.
Please indicate whether or not additional surface disturbance will occur, such as
power pole installation and/or access road construction, in order to install a power
supply to the proposed vent fan sites. If additional disturbance will occur, these
features should be included in the permit azea, illustrated on the permi
described in the mining and reclamation plans and accounted for in th '~~ ~ ~^"~~,
reclamation cost estimate SEP 26
OlY/i(pp pt ~jp~~~
