STIPUTATION N0, 3

Stabilization And Reclamation Of The Tailings Pond
This plan can be extended only for a few years. The exact elevation
and configuration of the tailings pond at shut down cannot be determined.
Ef reclamation of the pond is necessary within the next five years
Federal Resources will make every effort to stabilize and revegatate
the tailings pond. To keep the pond in a stabile condition it may not
be permissable to grade certain steep slopes. Small terraces will be
cut in these areas. Topsoil of an amount determined by what is avail-
able will be placed in these areas and seeded. Areas which can be
graded will be graded to an angle of repose as low as possible. These
areas will then be covered with topsoil (if available) and seeded,
The top of the pond will be covered with topsoil (if available) and
seeded, Rip rap material will be placed at the tce of the dam and
other areas of apparent erosion, depending on the final configuration
of the pond,
