• <br />Cultural Practices <br /> <br />• Seeding will occur during the fall, after November 1st, or early <br />spring, before May 1st, in order to take advantage of available soil <br />moisture conditions during the spring. <br />• Following seeding, weed-free grass hay mulch will be applied by <br />blowing at a rate of approximately 2 tons/acre, and mechanically <br />crimped (or netted where necessary) to anchor against using <br />blowing. <br />• Fertilize using 40 Ibs/.ac. available nitrogen, and 40 lbs./aa <br />available phosphorus as recommended by the NRCS for the site. <br />This translates to 87 Ibs./ac. 46-0-0, and 89 Ibs./ac. 0-45-0 would <br />that would be required. <br />Access Road <br />The access road will be ripped to a depth of six to 12 inches, and reseeded. <br />-10- <br />
