At this time,
the County Board of Commissioners approved a Special Use Permit for the
Mobile Premix operations, based upon certain conditions. These concerns
and conditions must be addressed by Mobile Premix prior to the Special
Use Permit being issued by the County Board. This should not prevent
application by Mobile Premix to the State fora Mined Land Reclamation
permit.
However, the Garfield County Board of Commissioners strongly
urges the State to acknowledge the County's concerns; and further to
consider this application with the provision that Mobile Premix adeq-
uately address the stated conditions of the Garfield County Special
Use permit.
Sincerely,
PLANNING DEPARTMENyT~ /~
Terry L. owman
Assistant Planner
TLB/ld
cc: Art Abplanalp, County Attorney
Larry Velasquez, Chairman
Garfield County Commission
