. -63-
Pring: I'm sorry, what I need for the purposes that we're thinking of
now is we need an official certified transcript from the Board.
I'm asking, you can deny the request, but I'd like to formally
ask the Board to make the transcription of this discussion and
the discussion this afternoon a high priority item so that
it's available in a matter of days and not weeks.
Rindahl: The intentioh of the staff in a meeting such as this is to
make up minutes of pertinent actions and then have the tapes
available....
Pring: I want the transcript.
Rindahl: Yeah, I know, I know what you're asking, I'm trying to tell the
Board what the intent of the staff is, and to have the tape
available in the office for whatever use the public wants to
make of the tape.
Pring: No, a certified transcript is what I'm asking for. Of course
you can deny it.
Rindahl: I would suggest then the Board deny the request and suggest that
the requestor bring in a court reporter and transcribe it at
their expense.
Ward: Let's act on that after lunch. I see no reason to make a decision
now. Toe need to have a bit more information about certified, etc.
and what the responsibilities are on the part of the Board and
I think we need to know that before we....
Rindahl: I think Lynn can give you that...can't you, Lynn.
