MILLING PLAN
ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN

The site selected for the milling facilities was the
best choice based on many concerns of environmental impact.
Taken into consideration in the selection of the site were
the tailings disposal area soil base, protection from strong
winds to prevent airborne migration of dust from the
tailings disposal area, proper soil conditions for
construction purposes, and isolation from inhabited areas
and heavy traffic.
Also considered were.the proximity to electric power,
the abundance of ground water, natural gas, and haulage
distance from the mining district.
The mill site is located in a heavily-wooded area on
the lee side of an east-west trending hill which affords
maximum protection from the normal prevailing wind from the
northwest. It is our intent to maintain only enough cleared
area to afford a good firebreak distance around the
buildings, roads and tailings disposal area.
Soil conditions were tested for permeability and
stability in the area of proposed tailings disposal by a
reputable firm under the direction of a professional
engineer. A report of his investigation is enclosed in this
section of the permit application.
The nearest inhabited building to our mill is one house
located about 800 ft. southwest of our mill.
