(f) A description of the following: <br /> (i) Final grading—specify maximum anticipated slope gradient or expected ranges <br /> thereof. <br /> The final grade of the pit Floor is planned to be at an approximate elevation of 7855 <br /> feet AMSL. Critical Area <br /> Planting—(342), will be followed. <br /> The seeding operation shall be by drilling with a drill spacing of S— 12 inches and a planting <br /> depth of 1/4 to 3/4 inch. As stated below in (f)(iii), no fertilizer, mulch or additional soil <br /> amendments will be used and weed control will be as necessary. Seedbeds will be firm and clean <br /> tilled. Seeding of stockpiled topsoil for stabilization will be broadcast and raked by hand using the <br /> same recommended seed mix as above. Recommended seedbed preparation dale is late June with <br /> July 1 to 15 recommended for seeding. Dormant seeding recommendations are from October 15 <br /> to April 15. <br /> (iii) Fertilization — if applicable,specify types, mixtures,quantities and time of <br /> application. <br /> No fertilizer, mulch or additional soil amendments will be used and weed control <br /> will be as necessary. <br /> (iv) Revegetation—specify types of trees,shrubs,etc., quantities, size and location. <br /> No shrub or tree species will be planted at the site. <br /> (v) Topsoiling— Specify anticipated minimum depth or range of depths for those areas <br /> where topsoil will be replaced. <br /> Stockpiled topsoil will be replaced over the pit floor and 3:I slopes after final grade <br /> has been established to a thickness of 8 to 12 inches. Topsoil will be replaced on all <br /> disturbed surfaces. <br />
