Exhibit "D" <br />(iv) Application method for grass seeding: <br />The seed will be applied by a drill with a competent agirtator. It will <br />be drilled across slope on the backslopes. If by some chance seed should <br />be broadcast, the rate will be doubled. <br />(v) Mulch, if necessary, and rates of application: <br />Certified noxious weed free Straw or grass mulch <br />will be applied and crimped in at the rate of <br />4, 000#/.9 as recommended <br />(vi) Establishment method for each species of shrub or tree: <br />No shrubs or trees are proposed for this wide-open rangeland area. <br />(d) Specify which ponds, streams, roads and buildings will remain after reclamation: <br />No ponds, streams or buildings are presently on site or proposed. The existing <br />ranch road which will be used for a haul road as well as for the owner and is <br />outside the permit area and will be left for the Lessor. <br />(e) Specify the reclamation treatment of any waste rock dumps, tailing impoundments. <br />underground mine openings, ditches, sediment control facilities, buildings and <br />other features not addressed: <br />This will be an open-pit surface mining operation. All rocks will be used in <br />production so there will be no waste rock. There will be no dumps, tailing <br />impoundments, underground mine openings, ditches, sediment control facilities, <br />buildings or any other features not involved in this narrative involved in any way <br />in this operation. <br />A low earthen berm will be established to keep all stormwater on-site, this will <br />Minimize disturbance to the hydrologic balance, and prevent off-site damage. <br />This will be maintained during active mining. <br />The low earthen berm will be removed after all mining is complete. <br />This wil/help provide a stab/e configuration consistent with the <br />surrounding topography. <br />
