Cottonwood Spring was monitored in May, September and
• November 1988. The Cottonwood Spring TDS values were near normal
during 1988. The West Buzzard site had a TDS value of 1352 mg/1
during May. No Name Seep was found to have a TDS of 2338 mg/1 in
May.
3.2 FIELD CONDUCTIVITY
The Trapper Mine Annual Hydrologic Report in the past has
presented only plots of the TDS values versus time. The 1988
Annual Hydrologic Report has included the TDS and field
conductivity time plots. Some field conductivities had been
corrected 4or temperature when a correction should not have been
made due to the meter being temperature compensating.
Conductivity values have been corrected in this report. Most
• conductivity plots reflect the same changes in individual wells
as seen on the TDS plots with few outliers in the data. Most
outliers shall be attributed to field measurement error. As
future data is carefully collected, conductivity plots will
become much more definitive of trends through time. Future field
conductivity plots should be definitive of major constituent
water-quality changes. TDS measurements on an annual basis
should be adequate to check the conductivity results.
Wells GA1 and GA2 are used to monitor the OR and KLM
aquifers at the GA site. Figures B-39 and 8-40 present the field
conductivity versus time plots for wells GA1 and GA2. Well GA1
exhibits a good amount of variation during individual years. The
overall plot of conductivity versus time for well GAI presents a
• slight declining trend. The June 1988 data is an outlier that is
3-9
