' ~ 9. Land stabilization and reclamation will be maintained for a period <br />of three (3) years after all mining activities cease, and if the <br />property is sold, leased, or transferred in any manner, the new <br />owner, lessee, or person having control, must file a request to <br />succeed Adams (LRB Form 7) with the Colorado Land Reclamation <br />Board, and shall agree to be bound to the unexpired period of the <br />three year term. <br />10. Adams will erect warning signs at least three hundred (300) <br />feet on either side of point of ingress and/or egress to or from <br />permit area to a posted and numbered thoroughfare. <br />11. If Adams plans to discharge into a waterway, then a permit to <br />discharge into same will be obtained from the Colorado Water <br />Quality Control Commission. <br />12. Adams will monitor water wells in the vicinity of said operation <br />to observe Levels of said wells and will arrange for a pure water <br />supply for the users or owners of wells affected by any drawdown <br />of the water table as a result of this operation. <br />13. Adams will control erosion on or along haul roads by the use of <br />drainage ditches, culverts, or check dams. <br />14, Adams will take any necessary measures to prevent undesirable <br />seepage from water impoundment sites and will provide adequate <br />spillways or other measures necessary to control overflow, <br />15. Natural drainways or drainways constructed to alleviate flood <br />conditions in the area shall be kept free from overburden, stock- <br />piles, and topsoil. <br />16, Adams will obtain permission from the local county authorities <br />before using water from any waterway, to prevent usurping any <br />adjudicated water rights. <br />17, Trailers and/or buildings used for office, storage, and maintenance <br />shall meet local zoning regulations. <br />18. Special use or other forms of permits shall be obtained from the <br />county agency authorized to grant such permits. <br />19. Nothing in this agreement shall subrogate the operator's responsi- <br />bility for compliance with local county zoning requirements. <br />
