MINED LAND [.'ILDLIFE STATEMENTJEVALUATION (Revised) <br />for limited impact and select regular mine applications <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />J - Hude Inc. ~ NE,i7 NWT, Sec. 18, T23S, R46W <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Wildlife Species list: <br />Pronghorn (?) <br />Deer (?) <br />Scaled Quail <br />Rabbit <br />Mourning Dove <br />Endangered/crit.ical speciesjimpacted: <br />•. None Thai. We Are Axare Of <br />Coyote _ <br />Sxift Fox <br />Badger <br />Raptors (Transient) <br />Various Nongame bird, <br />Critical habitatsfvegetative communities impacted: <br />None That We Are Aware Of <br />Assessment of impact: <br />mammal, & reptile spp. <br />Minimal impact from a 'dildlife standpoint since the site is a poorly vegetated <br />"sand dune" area and is in close proximity to U.S. Nighxay 287 and the City of <br />Lamar. <br />Mine Reclamation recotmnendations (include key speciesJhabitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />Since this area is extremely sandy (almost Sand Dune like) I do not feel <br />that much reclamation could be done to benefit Wildlife. I do feel that <br />the area should be sloped to a 3:1 slope of less and that it be reseeded <br />xith native grasses adapted to sandy soil conditions. All attempts should <br />be made to revegetate the area and prevent it from blowing.
