The <br />present vegetation is mainly sand sage, blowout grass, three awn and <br />. annual weeds. Generally anything that can be done would be an <br />improvement. <br />. I would reccomrnend that mining be limited to small areas, no more <br />than 5 to 10 acres in a hlocl;. The plan is tv remove the high hills <br />for use as fill material off site. With the leveling of these hills, <br />• the erosion hazard will be lowered from the present condition. The <br />reclama':ian plan should include slopes no Steeper than 3:1. A mulch <br />of straw or feedlot manure may be desireahle, when reseeding. <br />. A goad seeding mi::ture would tae as follows; <br />Sidoats grama-3D-40°k- 2.7-3.6 # pure live seed per acre <br />~ S!•iitchgrass- 3p-4n°~,- 7.3-1.8 # pure live seed per acre <br />.
