Clay-ribbons, becomes more shaley with depth, <br />limonite staining in part at approximately 9". <br />2.3 to 4.1 Soil -Dark brown to grayish brown, friable to low hardness, roots in <br />part, fine grained, shale in part, fine sand in part, clay-ribbons, gypsum <br />deposits in part, limonite staining and gypsum at approximately 3.7', <br />shall increases with depth (highly fractured with indense limonite <br />staining; calcite deposits in part), some carbonaceous deposits. <br />4.1 to 12.5 Shale/Soil -Brown, gray, black, friable to low hardness, very fine to <br />fine grained, frizility part, low clay content (doesn't ribbon), highly <br />fractured in part with intense limonite staining, gypsum deposits in <br />part, low sand content, carbonaceous deposits in part. Highly <br />fractured, stained shale between ± 6.6' to ± 7.1' and 7.7'to 8.0',lighter <br />in color with depth after 8'.
