CAMAS Coloado, Inc. • • Page lJ <br />Aggregate Production Facility Stortnwa[er Management Plan <br />4.0 COMPREHENSIVE INSPECTION <br />Comprehensive inspections of plant equipment and plant areas which are part of the <br />facility stormwater management system will be completed by qualified personnel <br />designated by CAMAS Colorado, Inc. <br />These comprehensive inspections shall be performed at least twice per year, <br />tentatively scheduled for once in the spring and once in the fall of the year. A record <br />of each inspection shall be maintained by the operator in Appendix D of this SWMP <br />and made available to the WQCD upon request. In addition, results of these <br />inspections will be summarized in the annual report submitted to the WQCD, and <br />maintained by the operator in Appendix E. <br />4.a Inspection Areas <br />Material handling areas, disturbed areas, areas used for material storage that are <br />exposed to precipitation, and other potential sources of pollution identified in the <br />SWMP in accordance with Part 1.B.3 of the permit shall be inspected for evidence of, <br />or the potential for, pollutants entering the drainage system. Structural storm water <br />management measures, sediment and control measures, and other structural <br />pollution prevention measures identified in the plan shall be observed to ensure that <br />they are operating correctly. A visual inspection of equipment needed to implement <br />the plan, such as spill response equipment, shall be made. <br />A copy of the comprehensive inspection form(s) is provided in Appendix C. <br />4.b Pollution Prevention <br />Based on the results of the inspection, the description of potential pollutant sources <br />and pollution prevention measures identified in the plan shall be revised as <br />appropriate within two weeks of such inspection. Such revisions shall provide for <br />implementation of any changes to the plan in a timely manner, but in no case more <br />than 90 days after the inspection. <br />4.c Summary Report <br />A report summarizing the scope of the inspection, personnel making the inspection, <br />the dates} of the inspection, major observations relating to the implementation of the <br />SWMP, and actions taken in accordance with paragraph (b), above, shall be made <br />
