No records <br />have been discovered indicating that any significant spill events have occurred at the <br />property from the three years prior to permit certification to the present. <br />3.b.2 Best Management Practices <br />The following practices are representative of measures employed within the Sand & <br />Gravel Industry for limiting pollution associated with stormwater runoff. The specific <br />practices listed below should not be construed as practices that are mandatory or <br />that there is any need on the part of an operator to justify non-use of a particular <br />practice. The intent of BMP's is to effect a measure of control over the water quality <br />of stormwater discharges. The practices selected by an operator to achieve control of <br />water quality may vary over the life of the industrial operation. <br />
