CAMAS Colorado, Inc. • • Page 5
Aggregate Production facility Stormwatcr Management Plan
Significant materials include, but are not limited to: raw materials; fuels; materials
such as metallic products; hazardous substances designated under section 101(14)
of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act
(CERCLA); any chemical the facility is required to report pursuant to section 313 of
Title III of the Superfund Amendment Reauthorization Act (SARA); fertilizers;
pesticides; and waste products such as ashes, slag and sludge that have the
potential to be released with stormwater discharge.
3.b.1 Potential Pollutant Sources
The following form identifies potential sources of pollutants at the York Street facility
and assesses the potential of these sources to contribute pollutants to stormwater
discharges associated with industrial activity. For each potential pollutant source, the
method of storage/disposal and management practices employed to reduce the
potential for contamination are identified. Additional space has been provided on the
Form to allow for the inclusion of activities/sources should conditions at the site
change.
Because of the nature of the activities within the sand and gravel mining industry, the
potential for contributing "significant" pollutants to stormwater is minimal.
