This includes drainages from plant yards, roads and rail <br />lines used for bringing materials to and hauling materials from plant <br />site, material handling sites, refuse sites, sites where wastewaters and <br />disposed sites used fot the storage and maintenance of material handling <br />equipment, sites for residual treatment storage or disposal, shipping <br />and receiving areas, manufacturing building and storage areas. The <br />description should define the drainage area and the receiving stream or <br />stormwater sewer system (if not awned by permittee) receiving the <br />discharge. A map is prefered. <br />None the pit is presently not in operation. The only other <br />discharge would be from stormwater coming in contact with the <br />active sand mining area. The material is directly excavated <br />from the dry creek bed with a front-end loader or backhoe. Some of <br />the material will be washed, some not. No other processing is involy <br />14. Please describe all present and proposed best management practices to be <br />used at the site. Include a map showing the location of structural <br />controls. <br />The proposed controls consist of small ber_ns around the active mining <br />area°and.s~di.mentation ponds *_o prevent s*_armwater and wash water <br />f rc~m d. i.rectly en*_e ring the stream bed. The stream bed is dry most <br />of the time and only runs occasionally-after storm events in the <br />spring and summer months. <br />15.
