<br /> <br />Plan Changes <br />• <br /> <br />1. Page 1 - Information Page <br />The submittal date has been changed.to June 9, 1989. <br />2. Page 4 - Item B, Paragraph 5 <br />Has been inserted to address <br />unsupported opening, as agreed <br />concerns of working inby an <br />upon on May 25th. <br />3. Page 9 - Bolting Sequence <br />Bolting sequence has been modified to better clarify that <br />the two outside or rib bolts are installed first and simul- <br />taneously prior to installing the center entry bolt. <br />4. Page 11 - Bolting Sequence Note <br />A bolting sequence note and explanation note have been re- <br />added to the bottom of this page. These paragraphs were <br />inadvertently omitted during the last approval. <br />5. Pages 19 and 15 - Typical Pillar Removal Sequence <br />Typical pillar removal sequence has been amended to state <br />pillars being removed starting from the opposite side of the <br />section "pulling" pillars towards the adjacent worked out <br />area. At times when seam pitches are encountered across the <br />section retreating pillars "up the hill" has safety <br />advantages irregardless of which side the worked out area is <br />on. <br />6. Pages 1G to 29 - Timber Supports <br />As mentioned in this letter's .opening paragraph, all timber <br />supports that were shown set under unsupported top have been <br />moved to show the timbers set under permanently supported <br />top. <br />Three pages have been added Co [lie pillar recovery sea.uence. <br />Page 27 depicts the recovery of adjacent square pillars left <br />and right from the same opening without a pillar split in- <br />volved. <br />7. Pages 28 and 29 - Barrier Recovery Sequence <br />Flas been added as requested by Mr. Smith to depict typical <br />barrier recovery sequence when recovering pillars. <br />8. Page ~D and 3 1 - Item 1. (m) (2) <br />As requested by Mr. Smith in our May 25th meeting the word <br />"embossed" has been added to better describe the roof bolt <br />plate's shape. <br />9.
