The Gas Company will pay to the Corporation the full amount necessary to compensate the Corporation for damages to its property, rights, franchises or privileges resulting from acts or omissions of the agents or employees of the Gas Company or frori the exercise of the license herein granted and the use of the lands oY the Corporation. All trees and brush removed from the right of way shall be pushed to one side and upon completion of construction such material shall be spread back over the 30-foal strip and mashed down with~a tractor in order to keep to a minimum any pos- sible erosion. In addition to the consideration specified in this paragraph number 5, the Gas Company shall pay to the Corporation as specific price for the license herein granted, the sum of One Dollar:($1.00) per rod of such right of way. Such amount shall be ' due and payable upon the execution of this agreement. 6. The Corporation expressly does not warrant title to the lands which are made subject to the license herein granted and the Gas Company assumes sole responsibility in the event its exer- cise of said license conflicts with or affects the right, title or interest of. other persons in and to such lands, it being under- stood that the Gas Company will indemnify the Corporation with respect. to any claim of or liability to such other persons. __ ?. The Gas Company shall have such rights of ingress and egress as may be necessary for the laying, constructing, re- constructing, replacing, renewing, removing, maintaining and operating said pipelines, but shall not leave open, or permit to be left open, any fences, bars or gates. All such fences, bars or gates which maybe damaged or disturbed in any way shall be fully restored by the Gas Company.
