TI-IlS PERMIT is issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, Departmerrt of Natural Resources,
State of Colorado.
RECITALS
A. The Pemrittee, Washington County, desires to conduct a mining operation known as Shook
Gravel Pit 1, for the purpose of e#racting Gravel. The Pemuttee will not mine any secondary commodities at
this site.
B. On May 24, 2001 the Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board's approved the Pemrittee's
application for this permit and directed that this permit be issued upon the filing with the Division of Minerals and
Geology (the "Division") of performance warranty approved by the Division. Said warranty has heal Sled with
the Division.
C. if the Permiftce desires to egad materials other than those listed th (A), a separate permit may
be required.
D. On May 24, 2001 the Board made the followurg fmdmgs:
1. The appbcation for this pertni[ complies with the requiremarts of the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Ad for the E#tadion of ConsWdion Materials, C.R.S. 34-32.5-10] et sue., as amended, and
with all applicable local, state and federal laws;
2. The operation will nd adversely affect the stability of any significant, valuable, and
pemlanem man-made structure located within two hundred feet of the Affected Land, except where there is an
agreement between the Operator and the persons havurg an irrteres[ in the structure that damage to the structure is
to be compensated for by the Pemrittee; and;
