• <br />2.05.3 <br />Reclaim Tunnels <br />Two 13-foot diameter, 350-foot long and 200 feet long, multi-plate tunnels <br />are located at the highway stockpile. One feeds the unit train loadout and <br />the other feeds the wash plant. Two 42-inch diameter, 160-foot and f 50-foot <br />long escape tubes provides ventilation and emergency exit from the west <br />(closed) end of the reclaim tunnels. Both escape tubes terminate at a <br />concrete fan housing that is approximately 6-feet by 6-feet by 8-feet high. <br />Coal Preparation Plant <br />The preparation plant is a structural steel building where coal and rock are <br />separated with heavy media circuits. The wash punt is a dosed system, no <br />water is discharged. The structure is approximately 55 feet by 70 feet by 80 <br />feet high. An adjacent motor control center room is approximately 10 feet <br />by 12 feet by 12 feet high. <br />• <br />Thickener <br />The thickener is a concrete structure where water is cleaned and returned <br />to the wash plan. The tank is approximately 70-feet in diameter and 10-feet <br />high. The reinforced concrete walls and floor are approximately 10-inches <br />thick. <br />Refuse Bin <br />The refuse bin will be utilized to hold surges in refuse production from the <br />wash plan and will load refuse haul trucks. The refuse bin is constructed of <br />structural steel and is approximately 20 feet by 20 feet by 60 feet high. <br />Transfer Buildings <br />Two transfer building are associated with the wash plant. One transfers the <br />plant feed and the other transfers clean coal. Both are constructed of <br />structural steel and are 16 feet by 16 feet in plan view.
