The Board of County Commissioners have designated Trapper Mine
as a solid waste disposal site. The Commissioners have also desig-
nated the mine as a fly ash and scrubber sludge disposal site. This
Department approves of co-disposal of fly ash and solid waste.
The fly ash could be mixed with solid waste to act as an ab-
~ sorbant for any liquids that may form during the decomposition of the
solid waste.
I'm sending along a copy of the letter sent to the County Com-
missioners by this Department recommending•approval for both fly ash
and solid waste disposal at Trapper Mine.
