Catralry <br />Division Oirecror <br />Natural Resource Tmssre <br />Listed below are the additional items and information we requested in order to complete our <br />adequacy review on the MMM Partnership Gravel Pit, New 110 Application, Permit No. M- <br />2006-042. The Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) is required to make an approval or <br />denial decision no later than June 22, 2006, therefore, your response to the following adequacy <br />review concerns should be submitted to the Division as soon as possible. <br />1. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires that maps be signed by a registered land surveyor, professional <br />engineer, or other qualified person. The maps submitted to the Division were not signed. <br />Please resubmit a signed copy of the maps. <br />Rule 6.3.3 Exhibit C- Mining Plan <br />2. Please designate if disturbances such as benches or impoundments will occur, and if so <br />specify their dimensions. <br />3. Please specify the thickness of the overburden or quantity of waste rock, if any, to be <br />removed to reach the deposit, and depict the location, of any overburden stockpiles or <br />waste rock, if any, on a map in Exhibit E, as required by Rule 6.3.3(c). <br />4. Please describe the nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to be mined in <br />sedimentary deposits and the effects of this stratum on plant growth and revegetation <br />potential. <br />5. Please state whether or not the operator plans to set up an on-site processing station. If so, <br />please provide the proposed location and size of this station on a map. <br />6. The application states that `~l+hen mining is complete we expect to leave the site sloped <br />so as to preserve the natural drainage similar to what now exists."
