Map C-3 shows the <br />cross-sections of the reclaimed terrain in comparison with the original terrain. It is seen from this <br />map that the restored land is lower due to the gravel extraction but is more than adequate to achieve <br />the post-mining land use. <br />The landowners desire that the access road remain to maintain entry to the site from Highway 50. <br />Much of this access road is off the permit area. <br />3. Reclamation Timetable <br />Since mining of the new permit azea is concurrent with reclamation, the timetable is somewhat tied <br />to the rate of mining in this area. Since actual sales aze difficult to predict, the assumption will be <br />made that the operation will mine and se1155,000 tons of total product per yeaz, on an average.
