The haul road culvert designs must be presented with the permit <br />application. <br />RESPONSE: <br />Because of the general nature of the surface facilities area, the <br />haul/access road is quite short in length and enters the mine site in <br />more of a parking area form. The culverts to be used on the haul/access <br />road are shown on the revised Mine Facilities Map (Map 12). These <br />culverts are 24 inches in diameter and is designed to handle the flow <br />from the mine facilities area. The sizing of these culverts were <br />determined by estimates of peak flows as shown in Appendix 1. <br />25.
