Mount <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />FEB Z 71997 <br /> <br />RE: The Denver Brick Company, Bijou Clay Pit, File NM-97007, <br />Corps File k199780100 <br />Dear Mr. Mount: <br />Reference is made to the Denver Brick Company, Bijou Clay Pit (your <br />File 1/M-97-007) located in Section 11, Township 8 South, Range 62 West, Elbert <br />County, Colorado. <br />The project has been reviewed in accordance with Section 404 of the Clean Water <br />Act under which the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulates the discharge of .dredged <br />and fill material, and any excavation activity associated with a dredge and fill project, in <br />waters of the United States6100 such as streams and wetlands.
