The <br />height of water storage shown on Table A is based upon water or sediment storage <br />below the lowest holes in the primary outlet. The height of temporary water detention <br />is based upon evaluation of the elevation of either the outlet or emergency spillway, <br />to determine the maximum water elevation for the design frequency. <br />Prior to construction of the ponds, the pond embankment and impoundment <br />area will be stripped of topsoil. At five of the pond locations the depth of topsoil <br />removal will be 4 feet. At Pond 013, located near the R-1 Portal, the depth of topsoil <br />removal planned is 1.75 feet. <br />SITE CONDITIONS <br />Conditions at the ponds varied somewhat by location.
