Optimum growing season for native plants is from April <br />to September. The frost-free period varies from 75 to 100 days. Temperature ranges <br />from -20's to +90's F. Much of the precipitation falls as snow and winters are generally <br />closed. Summers are warm or hot, winters cold. Site has high water table and may <br />flood during spring snowmelt. <br />1.
